1000 Tower corner unit - howdens

Fitting a kitchen with a 1000 tower corner.

Units which have come are standard 1000 base cab (720 high)
Along with a 1220 high 1000 cab which I had assumed goes on top of base cab and job is a goodun.
Move mid rail if 400 door, keep where is if 500 door.

What has threw me is the fact they have also sent a 400 rigid tower unit. I've called today and asked, no designer in but bird on the phone was adamant that the 400 tower is to do with the 1000 corner cab.

I can't see it myself as you'd end up creating a massive dead space in the corner with the 400 cab. Just looking for some reassurance that I'm on the right track here? Unusual for Howdens too send something which you don't need more often than not missing things you do need!
