Hi all , slowly getting back into general diy, woodwork, metal work, and manly jewellery making ( chainmaille in stainless steel, sterling silver etc )
Due to ill health I've been laid up for many years but I've finally got a new shed being built this week only 7 X 6 but it will be all mine!!!
Budgets bloody tight for new toys as I blew a fair bit on a very strong shed.
Have plenty of hand tools ,good drill, recip saw, high end solder station for electronics and a little smiths torch for silver soldering.
Looking to try make a few simple woodworking project over coming summer as and when health ( and wife ) will let me.
First project will be a decent work bench.
And first shiny toy when I've saved some pennies will be a sliding mitre saw.
I'm no Leonardo davinchi when it comes to woodworking ( i put the capital B in Bodging Unfortunately) but I'm willing and wanting to improve.
Unfortunately I can only run an extension lead to shed for power which is a PITA.
Have a very OTT extension lead though.
Lighting wise I will be using my existing illuminated magnification lamp ( big one on swing arm ) but will need to put in a batten/strip light as well. Just got to figure out putting a plug on it lol.
Currently residing in paignton devon with my good woman, my daughter whom is a gremlin , the mutt and the moggy
Heyas peeps
