I wish to plant a yellow rose in memory of my father.
His favourite plant and colour.
I planted a golden showers rose - the blooms are large and magnificent but they don't seem to last long in the wind and the rain.
Can anybody recommend a climbing/rambler rose with smaller yellow blooms - but very profuse that is easy to grow?
Or am I asking for the impossible?

Re: Easiest Rose to grow
Not sure many roses will stand the battering we have had this week on the allotment most of the roses have shed their some of their petals. Have you looked at David Austin roses they seem to have quite a few ramblers and climbers that are yellow. If you rang them they could advise on the easiest variety to grow in you locality/spot
