Custom built entertainment box
Ive been building all sorts of stuff from parts harvested from old radios, tvs etc.
When my daughter turned 16, i decided to built her present.
She lives for music and always loses her earphones. So, i got that sorted.
The 3-in-1 music box.
Its a bluetooth speaker, a phone charging dock and bedside lamp.
Here's how......
Collect the items- I had an old bluetooth satelite speaker that was damaged around the outer casing, which i opened and removed the circuit board.
An old charger cable to fit the phone
3 LED lights, harvested from broken LED tv.
12v power supply, to power lights
Old cellphone charger
5v power supply for bluetooth
I placed the 3 power supplies and wired them with a switch on each, to save energy.
Hand crafted the charging stand for the phone and wired it up.
The outer case was built from strips of pine blinds, that was taken from an old house.
After carefully wiring the whole lot up, i completed the box and decorated it.
And the result, is a custom made music player/charger/bed lamp..
Nothing i used, was bought new

If the lessons of history teach us anything it is that nobody learns the lessons that history teaches us.
