Can anybody please give me a step by step guide of how to open a PDF file on my iPad please.
I have downloaded the Adobe Acrobat app to my i-pad but just cannot figure out how to open the file with it.
This is the actual file I want to open, it’s a tax calculator to work out some backdated tax that I owe.

a embedded pdf like that don't like to run on mobile devices you best doing it from a pc/mac

install the pdf app, restart you phone/device when you open that page it should open in the app - if not - press and hold the link to the pdf, you should then be able to select what app to use to open it with

Thanks for replies, that guide you posted helped me with the process of how to open a pdf but unfortunately when trying to open this particular pdf it told me that I must use a Mac or Windows supported pc so at least now I know it’s not possible to do what I wanted to do on the i-pad.
The other problem is that my pc is running Windows vista which is not compatible with the latest version of Adobe Reader which is why I was trying to do it via I-pad so I will either have to use a different pc or phone HMRC and get them to calculate it over the phone for me.

I open and read them using iBooks, but sync them via iTunes

My phone is not an iPad, but the book reader I have on it will open PDF files.

I’ve opened pdf files on my iPad on emails I receive no problem.

I have a lot of car related stuff in pdf format that works fine, but pdf's with macros or calculators like the op has, will not run properly or not load at all on mobile devices
