hi guys, just came across the youtube channel, and I thought it was brilliant, so I was having a look to see where the handyman was based and found the forum!!! Thought I'd make use of so many clever people (one brain and all that).

Anyway I do a bit of DIY, I love my tools, but have little storage space as I live in a flat, I do wish I had a garage!!!!

Anyway I have a job, where I need to replace the cabinet under the sink, its had too many leaks over the years and is pretty much falling apart.

The water pipe comes up through the bottom and waste and water pipes go out the back of the cabinet as well, whats the best way to replace it without having to take all the pipework apart?

Thoughts, should I just cut a channel in the bottom of the cabinet and slide it in, any thoughts on this?

Best asked in another part of the forum. Pics of existing pipework/sink/units might help.

to be fair you will seldom get a good neat cupboard cut around pipes unless you are really lucky
it generally needs the pipes to be altered
sometimes a false back can hide a multitude off sins

Thanks all, I thought it might be the case, the worst part of it is I have the water pipe coming in from the bottom, so am going to have to work a way to get that in as well!!! fun never stops!!!
I might get some ply cut in half horizontally, then cut the holes where it needs to slot over the pipes and seal/paint it etc.
