dewalt 1 year service contract

Post by fin »

has anyone here returned their dewalt tools after a year for the free service? is it worth the hastle?

i have a dw997 cordless and a dw701 mitre saw that will need returning later this year if i want to take advantage of this offer.

ill also have a few other tools if i chose to go with dewalt again as i need to upgrade a lot of my stuff due to it basically being old and knackered

well try avoiding dewalt then as they are not all that anymore bosch and makita etc are far better in the terms of build.

Altho i own a Dewalt D25113K sds rotory stop drill which is very good and a dewalt dw615 1/4 router and rate the dw707 chop saw id not advise the cordless drils as they are cheaply made these days

yeah i agree with you on that. though the dw997 that i bought last december is a re released model. its basically exactly the same as the older dewalt or elu drills. with the 2 gears etc rather than 3
