Paint tray liners and bags - any recommendations please?

Hi

I've got some painting to do, and if there's one thing that does my head in it is cleaning the roller paint tray afterwards...!

So I've been having a look and I came across these:

Has anyone used this sort of thing and if so what are they like? Any recommendations?

Or can you buy bags instead that you slip the paint tray into, and again any recommendation on bags please - even if they're bags which weren't originally meant for that purpose?

Use a scuttle instead. Clean up is very quick, just remove as much paint as possible with the brush, wipe out with a dry cloth, and then wipe out with a damp cloth. Takes less than 3 minutes.

To be honest, I didn't even know you could use anything but a tray for rolling. I'll have to check that out. I can't quite figure out though why a scuttle would be easier and quicker to clean than a tray... Am I missing the blindingly obvious (as usual)?

you could always line it with cling film or tin foil

A scuttle is much easier and faster to use as it hold more paint so you're not refilling it as often and they are easier to move around a room compared to a full paint tray. They take no longer to clean than a tray, so all in all they are easier and faster.

Use a 15L skuttle and then go to Toolstation and buy a pack of liners for about £5. No cleaning........job done.
