Hello,
I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping to find some help here.
I want to tile my bathroom. I already removed old tiles without damaging plasterboard, well there was some small cracks but I filled them up with plasterboard filler. Should I use primer or anything else on old plaster before tiling? Is it better to use grout or adhesive? I was thinking to cover this old plaster with something to seal it. Is this a good idea or am I thinking wrong?
I would appreciate any advice, thank you

If it's in reasonable nick then no primer needed (whatever you do DON'T PVA it) Just a decent quality bagged cementatious adhesive for your new tiles.

Re: Old plasterboard preparation
any recomendations on some good quality adhesive or grout? I don't mind paying a bit more for good quality stuff as they will probably do the job. Is it better to use adhesive or grout?
