sealing a screeded floor

I just had the floor screeded in my kitchen which i'm renovating from scratch. It's going to be several months before it's all finished and I get the floor tiled though. There's going to be some heavy duty goings on in there in the meantime, and my experience of screeded floors is that the surface wears easily and creates dust. Is there anything I can seal it with, which won't compromise the tiling adhesive which will be used later? Or should I just try to be carefull and tolerate the dust?
