Plastering over plastic C/H flexi pipes

My son has all his c/h flexi pipes chased into the wall and then plastered over.
The original builder did a good job as no cracking or visible marks where the pipes are.

The question now is that he is to have a radiator moved and again the pipes will be chased into the wall.

I am happy to fill/skim over the pipes but want to know from the experts how to do this without
plaster cracking so that they remain as invisible as the original ones were.

Please no suggestions such as why move radiator, I am after serious advice only please
as this is what he wants and hence your guidance needed.

how deep are the pipes ?

Thanks for asking.

I would guess the top of the flexi pipe is approx 10mm from the wall surface,
so therefore original the depth of the channel was approx 25mm.

Whenever I have done similar (though copper not plastic) I have used expanded metal lath

Is one example over the pipes before filling, however I can't be certain that it will work if the pipes are only 10mm below the wall surface, I tend to bury the pipes a bit deeper 20mm or more below the wall surface.

Did you the use Thistle boding plus topcoat or Just EasiFill the lot?

Just normal finishing plaster, built up in 2/3 layers.
