Finishing it is important, but that does not mean that you cannot earn along the way
I know a couple of good apprentices that do foreigners at weekend, it is a learning curve and once you have learnt your trade you will be able to earn decent money.
Stick at it and try to get working with a good joiner, one that will help you and pass on his knowledge, rather than taking the pi** out of you all the time.
It will be worth it in the long run

What do you mean if you haven't finished it...
Giving up an apprenticeship will portray the image of a quitter and most people wouldn't want to employ you.
When you say thrown off the job, it depends if the job & apprenticeship are linked, or how much contact there is....
You need to think long and hard about your LONG TERM future, not just what is best for the rest of this year!

They normally keep you on until you have finished and if you are good and can afford you, they will offer you a permanent job, but most tradesmen choose to go their own way and go self employed- this is much better than working for someone else.
If you really enjoy carpentry/ joinery then that is the main thing, no amount of money can compensate for a job that you hate doing
