How Flexible Are Flexible Tap Connectors?

I want to fit a new set of monoblock taps in the kitchen. The existing one is connected using a section of 15mm pipe soldered to 12mm pipe whereas the new tap needs a flexi pipe fitted between the tap and the existing 15mm tee-joint 220mm below the tap. The provided flex hose is around 400mm and is a 1/2" connection. I can buy a 12mm to 15mm flexi hose that should do the job but it is still long at 300mm.

So..... how flexible are these pipes? Would a 300mm hose fit that space or would it weaken the joints and risk leaks?

The flexi's have a 'bend radius' that is approximately equivalent to their length and I'd say you'll be 'pushing it' to get the bend you suggest. A longer version (500mm) may 'do a loop' to fit though. Can't you fit an elbow on the 't' to make it point down?

Thanks, I did think it may be risking it to get it to bend that much. I'll give what you suggest some thought and see what I can come up with.

Normally you just cut back the supply pipes to get a comfortable fit.
