Bluetooth/wireless keyboards

Post by Have Brush Will Travel »

Hello all,

I bought a wireless one off of Amazon recently, set up was easy, I put Nexflix on and searched for a couple of films..no problem and certainly easier than poncing about with the remote, then I tried youtube, nothing, prime movies, nothing, sky search, nothing, the smart tv browser, nothing..

Google worked intermittently

It also had a habit of freezing the Netflix search..

I don't a bit of research and found a lot of people had similar problems,

Would a Bluetooth keyboard be better?

Is there nothing out there that works?

Shall I save my money and buy a nice bottle of brandy instead????

Cheers

I went from wireless back to wired for the keyboard as former experienced delays etc, only the mouse stays free to roam!

I bought a Rii8 bluetooth one from Amazon. It worked great until the box itself packed in. I would have given you it but my dog chewed it to bits when I left it out.

They're worth a punt as they're relatively cheap.

Yeah, delays are something else that occur...then when you hit the keys a few times you get 'ggggg' :angryfire: ...and have to start all over again..

I might have a crack at the Bluetooth option, I dont want to waste a lot of money on one though..

It seems like a pretty common problem..I might try plugging a usb keyboard into the t.v to see how that performs, if it doesn't I'll at least know that its the apps on the t.v
