Best way to attach rail to the wall

I have just bought some new Metod kitchen wall cabinets from Ikea.
I bought the rails that you put on the wall to hang the cabinets from
However they did not come with any screws etc to fix the rail to the wall.
The rail is going to be fitted onto a brick wall so I was looking for suggestions for the best fixings to use to ensure the rail is securely fitted to support the cabinets and contents. I believe the screw to be use should be a flat one.

Size 8 plugs, 6x80 (or maybe 6x60) screws. Always drill slightly downwards too, helps to stop plugs pulling out.

Fischer Duopower plugs perform very well (as demo'd by Gosforth handyman on youtube). I've used them but just for smaller tasks.

I can see FISCHER DUOPOWER WALL PLUGS
FISCHER DUOPOWER WALL PLUGS 8 X 40MM
Or

Is the bigger one best?

Bummer. Spend time writing a reply and lost it.
Forget the 6x... The first number refers to the diameter of the plug (e.g. 8mm) the second number to the length (40mm), 40mm length is about the least you need assuming you might have 10-20mm of plaster on top of your brick, I would personally want longer than 40mm (belt and braces).
See this page from Fischer
https://www.fischer.co.uk/en-gb/product ... ic-fixings. Any of the first 3 plugs (Duopower, Universal plug UX, Expansion plug SX) will do for brick. Looking at the SX you get 8x40 or 8x65 or 10x50. The 8x65 maybe rare to find and expensive, so between 8x40 and 10x50 I would chose the bigger plug (plus 10mm masonry drill or 8mm for the 8x40 plug) and probably size 6x70ish screws. You may need a washer for each screw as the holes on the bar look rather big and the bar thin.
Maybe someone else (not him) who drills more holes etc than me can give you more precise advice. Sorry, I can't see the diagram at all to figure out the fitting advice you have got.
