Change kitchen tap

My kitchen tap comes with copper tubing connected directly to the old tap, but my new tap comes with 2 connector tubes with some adatpors, not sure any advise or any thing else i need to get to replace it please?

Pop out the copper tube, cut it off, fit an isolator valve and then screw the new fittings on to the valve. That's what I do anyway.

Sometimes it is worth the hassle of unclipping the sink top to lift it and giving yourself a bit of room to work. The only issue then is if you mess the gasket up for the sink to worktop. You can get a new seal strip off Amazon for a fiver.
