Makita 194385-5 Guide Rail Clamps

I've been thinking about getting track saw clamps for a while and notice these Makita clamps at a reasonable price (compared with other makes / sellers). Has anyone used them?

The reviews on amazon suggest they work with Aldi / Lidl tracks.

Oh, some of the reviews say the clamp bars may need filed to allow them to slide into the tracks.

I have Lidl Parkside.

Btw, I sent a mail to one of the sellers (first link) to confirm they were selling them as a pair. Their listing wasn't clear.

If the clamps will fit a festool or makita track then they should fit the Lidl track too. I have a pair of festool clamps and they fit on the Lidl track too.

I bought the Parkside one as well. I splashed out and bought the Evolution ST2800 tracks which come with clamps. I haven't used them yet.

I already bought extra Parkside track so struggled to justify buying the evolution kit.

I bought from the following ebay listing, seller confirmed they are being sold as a pair.

For those thinking of buying clamps, you can get the welded style of clamps as found on the evolution tracks and you can get the forged style as shown in this thread and used by festool and makita etc.

The welded type are fine for securing a track, light duty stuff. The forged type are also great for tracks but additionally they are very strong and can be used for all sorts of other clamping tasks. I probably use my festool clamps more for other clamping than use on the track. Well worth the extra few quid in my opinion. Something to think about.

Update. The clamps (these ones) arrived yesterday.

Not had a chance to use for a cut them bit did try them in the Parkside tracks and fitted perfectly. They feel really solid and as Rorschach said they are forged as a single bar so ain't going to mode. I'd recommended these.
