Hi, I have two doric pillars in front of the house. Want to create smooth round pillars instead. Any suggestions on the materials and techniques guys?.. many thanks :)

I won't know the final answer, but it's likely to be subject to what they're made of.

Stone, fibreglass or whatever?

It might be more cost effective to just replace them for what you want.
One day it will all be firewood.

Regardless of construction, wrap them tightly with EML, render with sand & cement, decorate with masonry paint.

No idea of price, but there appears to be at least one company offering a ready made solution.
