I know these words aren't usually seen together, but combining the 20% off PARTY coupon offered on FFX purchases made through eBay and the cash rebates from Festool UK, one can -and does- get some significant discounts which make Festool products more affordable. Two examples:
- £234 for the TS55-REBQ-Plus 240V plunge saw (that is £355 - 20%, and after £50 cash back)… the gateway drug to the festool system ;-)
- £405 for the OF 1400 EBQ--Plus 240V router (this is £555 - £100, and after £50 cash back)
There are many other Festool power tools which benefit from this combined offer (and 20% off the regular price is still good for other items).
I think the 20% expires today, and there are some limitations (the 20% savings is capped at £100, and can only be used on up to three orders), but this is the first time I find 'good value' in Festool toys!
FFX is a good supplier (very good and responsive service in my experience, quick free delivery) -they've also confirmed to me over the phone that ebay orders are eligible for the Festool cash rebate...

If you succumb to temptation, it seems that getting the DF500 Q-Plus in one order, and the accessories to make it the Q-Set in a second order will get you a slightly better deal, as the maximum saving per order is £100. One is allowed up to 3 orders should this be a concern... I was also quite tempted to be honest ;-)
