Makita or hikoki grinders
I'm looking at getting a 9" grinder and not sure which to go for. Makita grinder or hikoki twin pack both 240v. Anyone able to advise? TIA

Makita or hikoki grinders
Both are probably good - I've got a Makita 9" and have no complaints, solid bit of kit. Personally don't think you can go wrong with Makita but everyone's got an opinion. Also have a few Titan tools (Screwfix/Kingfisher own brand) that are perfectly good.
If it's occasional use only I'd save a few quid and go with Titan

Makita or hikoki grinders
i used one particular model of makita 9 inch grinder and it was horrendous. it was the cheaper one that screwfix sell. dunno if it was faulty or whatever but the guard permanently got in the way to the point it was dangerous. its not seen the light of day for a few years now. somewhere at the back of the lock up it is.
