Does anyone know what these tiny flowers are? I saw them in a park yesterday and really liked them. They made great ground cover. Some of them were purple as well as white. Thanks

The multitude of small white flowers look like Common Daisy - bellis perennis - but the perspective is a bit tricky.

They are daisy like but don't look like the ones that pop up on my lawn! They are densely packed together like a carpet!

The daisies in your lawn probably get cut regularly, (but I won't judge if they don't).

This may or may not be the answer.
At a friends house last year he asked me to help identify a plant with a blue flower in his lawn, with a bit of digging, (internet, not lawn) I discovered that it was Self Heal, which can grow to 30cm high in the wild, his were really short, just a basal rosette of leaves with the blooms poking up above grass level, unlike mine, his grass is cut regularly.

Saying nothing re lawn!

I will have a look at some seed catalogues and see if I can spot some.
