Help please. Damp on wooden flooring after foam insulation :(

Post by Eldaniel »

Hi, I had a fantastic idea to insulate all the gaps on the outside of my patio door. Literally I put the foam wherever I have seen the gap between brick and pvc patio door frame. Now condensation forms on wooden flooring by the patio door. Help please how to remedy it. If I try to dry it with the heater few hours later is back :( any advice would be appreciated.

is there any drain holes in the sill the bottom track is on ??
my thoughts
water draining off the doors onto the track now prevented from flowing out ?? :dunno:
but just a complete guess
