Lifting tiles with Underfloor Heating.

We’re looking at buying a 12 year old house with a wet underfloor heating system downstairs in a solid floor.  We want to lift the tiles and re-tile.  What are people’s thoughts about lifting tiles with underfloor heating.  Is it no no for fear of splitting a pipe?  Is there any hidden problems?  OK to use a standard small tile re-mover (small kango)
Would it be better to tile over existing tiles.
