You do not need a professional line bending machine to be able to bend acrylic at home, you can do it quite easily by using a small homemade line bender as demonstrated in this video. Here I bend a piece of 4mm cast acrylic 90 degrees. This makes really easy work of bending any thin pieces of Acrylic up to about 6mm thick, anything thicker than that and you will have to turn the work piece over to heat it from both sides before bending.
