Number of blocks in a pack?

As the title says folks, please could somone let me know how many concrete blocks there are in a pack. Thanks in advance.

Depends but for 100mm 7 Newton blocks it is sold in packs 72

< 88 of those 4" blocks in a pack.

(The pink one was one of a number I bought loose from a quarry and they are in stacks of 160)

Most be a Company thing, Our local it 's 80 4" on a pallet

He's not going to build anything, but wanted to know how many blocks there are in a pack

The problem is he keeps getting different answers.

I guess the thing to do is ring around a few local suppliers, Matt, and get a price per pack and a quote of what size of pack they stock.

Cheers folks. Building an extension and just put the footings in on friday.
Was trying to work out how many blocks I needed and so work out how many pallets of blocks i'd need to order. Think i'll be spending my monday round the local builders merchants.

Hi matt,

Just work out the amount you need plus 5% and any decent merchant will send that amount

...or if you prefer not to be left with blocks that you don't want, order exactly the amount you calculated that you will need and then pick up the 10 or 20 that you find you need to finish when you get to that stage.

I'm coming to the end of some blockwork that I estimated would take 720 blocks. I bought 702 (8 packs of 88) and I will probably need about 20 more to finish. When I have laid the last of my 702 I will know exactly how many to pick up from the builders merchants and I won't have any extras to get rid of.
