Hi Allan,
I am no sparks but I have a pair of these-
http://www.teng.co.uk/product-details.asp?prod_id=325
I also have a pair of Teng wire cutters that are really good for cutting meter tails, but I can't find them on the teng website.

My preferred tool makers, are Irazola for screwdrivers, and Knipex for cutters and pliers.
Such as these, Never had aproblem with them, other than slight electrical, blowing holes in them type accidents

If it isnt broke dont bloody touch it until it bloody well is and if it is broke then make drawing of the connections before you remove the broken one and replace with a new one LoL
