The second photo would ındıcate that an area prevıously osbscured by the black cırcle ıs now workıng agaın, and the way ıt enlarged and slıpped down the screen would suggest ıt ıs somethıng between the lıght ın the tft and the grıd contaınıng the pıxels needıng ıllumınatıng.. what ıs the change a sequın has fallen between the lıght and tft screen? perhaps through a gap ın the top of the monıtor? Thıs wıll sound funny but.. have you got anythıng that vıbrates rather strongly that you could hold agaınst the edge of the monıtor whılst ıt ıs swıtched on to see ıf the cırcle moves any further down the screen?

Tried the 'vibration method', didn't do anything.
But they have grown.
And I can move and reshape them by rubbing the screen, then they reform back to an approximate circle.
When I say 'they', if you look at the pic after reshaping there are lots of black marks, these will then visibly 'swim' back to the main group.

Have you not got a new one yet?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I've got another pc used primarily for work which I'm using for everything at the moment.
Looking at my options, I've narrowed the cause down to a leak on a cistern whilst on holiday.
The way it/they behave, I believe that I could have a previously undiscovered species living in my monitor or even a new species?
Wierdest thing to see the swimming action back to the blob.

if something did drop in from above, leave the screen upside down and see if it starts to work it way out again?
