Acorn Drain

Post by hamco »

Can anyone tell me what an acorn drain is? We're having our drive done and been told they'll install one, but I've never heard of them.

Thanks

I think you'll find that Acorn is the make, and they're talking a surface water drain, Perhaps a strip in front of the garage for example.

Usually called alco drain, it is a grated type gulley that takes surface water usually situated in front of openings such as garage doors and openings that have no threshold.
If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments..
