whats the betting Wise will take over??
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

The future of Kevin Keegan and the manager's role at Newcastle United is unclear after the club insisted it had not sacked him.

BBC Sport understands Keegan had left the club following a series of meetings with the board.

But in a statement, the club said: "Kevin has raised a number of issues.

"We'd like to stress Kevin is extremely important both now and in the future and want him to continue to play an instrumental role as manager."

im highly confused by the whole situation. personally i wouldnt blame him at all if he has walked due to the ridiculous set up at nufc. they wont be able to get any manager to come in and work under those conditions. im rather pissed of with the whole thing. dnt know how he thinks he can treat keegan that way and get away with it. a disgrace to treat a club legend like that. no other club would have done it im sure

may be a bit late. how do you draw that conclusion? from memory when he was our manager first time around. first season saves the team from relegation to what is now league 1, next season promotion to premier league (first full season) then 3rd in prem 4th in prem and 2nd in prem. thats not to bad going. also signed shearer for a then world record fee. also signed some of the best players ive seen play for newcastle.

he said before he took the england job he didnt want it full time. however there was a big clamour for him to take it. (he was fulham manager at the time and had got them promoted to prem)

not too sure on his record at man city.

he also took a team from complete dissaray in newcastle last season and kept them in the prem when there was a possible relegation battle with players devoid of confidence when he took over.

he would have still been at newcastle had it not been for a meddling little cokney dwarf t*at that no one likes (denis wise)
