Something Hoovie said reminded me of when i had a Cavalier, it is advisable to have the water pump replaced if you have the cambelt changed as you may find that this will start to leak after the belt has been fitted, i had my belt replaced and not the pump and about a week later it started to leak although it wasn't a major job to replace
If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments..

I'd read that too but they weren't concerned enough to point it out and they are a pretty good garage.Well if it leaks it'll have to be changed next time. I assume I'm just looking for high water temp on the gauge if it leaks and a puddle!

Failure means you just didn't get it right yet!

just keep an eye on the water coolant level in the expansion bottle
- maybe even make a little mark on it to show current level and check it never changes.
Cars nowadays should never loose coolant fluid

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Mooncat Jr has a Hyundai coupe 2.7 litre v6, he's just paid £540 for a cambelt and tensioner change, together with the lower pulley which had disintegrated.
I started out with nothing, I still have most of it.
