Bosch gbh24

Post by mac321 »

Hi all

Does anyone have, or have experience of, the Bosch GBH24 (any derivitive) as I'm looking at getting one.

Yup, I know it aint LiOn but I don't need LiOn enough to justify the price. I can get a new GBH24VF for £299 (inc 3 batteries).

So, any thoughts...or anyone have one they wish to offload...or able to recommend an alternate?

Thanks all

M

You don't want to pay that!!!

Use the promo code "MC59279" and apparantly you'll get 10% off all orders (use by 10th Oct)
And go via Quidco and get 7% off as well :thumbright:
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Ooosh, I've used one of those Makitas. Heavy as #### and not very comfortable to use! The Bosch are good, warranty is longer than DeWalt, but still, I think Bosch is overpriced. And the lifetime is still shorter than DeWalt or Makita!

I bought a 24v DeWalt reconditioned from a company on e-bay. I use these guys quite a bit. Bought my chopsaw+stand, SDS (110v and cordless) and loads more from them! All recon stuff. Never had one problem from them or the tools. You still get the same warranty with recon!

Check this DW 24v out. £229, only two batteries but has higher impact energy than the Bosch. More torque, faster charge time on batts! And the same weight as the Bosch!
