Firefox crashing with this forum?

I'm a new member, so sorry if this is old news.

Has anyone else experienced Firefox crashing when trying to load certain threads on this forum? For example, I've viewed with no problem the first few threads in the 'Rogues Gallery' sub-forum, but when I click on "painted angel before and after", Firefox (3.0.3) crashes.

It's okay with Explorer 6.0...

AVG Free 8.0 and also Zone Alarm. :)

Firefox and AVG free have issues with each other.

With the last Firefox update, I had to uninstall AVG free and re-install it.

See what a few of the computer guys have to say when they log on.

Yes the issue is on their web site, and when it updated, but not many read things like that.

SP 3 is another, MS say you install it at your own risk makes good reading.

I turned off Linkscanner in AVG Free - seems to have sorted the problem.
