electro osmatic probs
hi folks. I have an electro osmatic dpc in my living room, 36" stone walls. Just noticed rising damp on one wall, and when the skirting board was removed i found approx. 8' of wire missing! My problem is that the whole system does not seem to be earthed. It looks like the wire forms a complete circuit, both ends of the wire running back to the transformer. Am i right in saying one end of the wire should go to the positive side of the transformer and the negitive side being earthed? Does the wire need to run in a complete circuit? help!! any advice gratefully received as I am now going to hack all the dodgy plaster off.
