Bahco Socket set

Post by mxlemming »

Recently got myself a Bahco s106 socket set... Seems to have a hell of a lot of stuff in it, looks good, is made by Bahco so should be solid as and has a lifetime warranty etc....
Just wondering what your experiences with bahco socket sets were like.

Actually got it new for £110 +p&p, before anyone comments on that.

Not used Bahco socketry before myself, but everything else of that name is good quality, and normally well designed. Bahco is a subsidery of Snap on Tools ;)

would have been quite handy to reveal where you got this set from for £110 rather then linking to a site that quotes £279 ::b
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I got it new from the ebay..... no more have come up for that price though.
Seems bloody good quality, having played with it a bit. Seriously neat bit of kit.

One of the technicians at our place has a set of Bacho sockets, they seem like very good quality and are comparable with other good makes such as Teng or snap on.

I have a few pairs of their adjustables and they are probably the best adjustable that you can get.

Super price for them indeed.

think Bacho invented the adjustable spanner didn't they? I have a couple of Bacho adjustables as well and haven't got a clue where they came from, had them that long -and out perform the others I have easily

I have the spanners as well. They are truly awesome... I was hoping the sockets would be as good as the spanners. They are new since about 2005 I think, so there aren't many reviews or the like, and they are'nt quite as legendary as the adjustables....
