Drilling speed question

Post by Mooncat »

I've bought a set of step drills for sheet materials. No clue as the max speeds for the 4 to 12,20,32mm bits which are titanium coated HSS.
I started out with nothing, I still have most of it.

Theres a speed chart on the other page aswell.

For the 4mm starter youll be needing around 1000rpm, right up to the 32, probably down to around 300 rpm. Easiest way to acheive such low speeds is to keep pressure on the bit and blip the trigger on and off
