dewalt dw701 chop saw

anyone got one of these? the type 2 model.

mine seems to have developed some play especially when the slide part is fully extended. sideways play but the whole pivoting table seems to move also. any ideas what could have caused this? there is a nut on the underside bt when i tightened it a quarter turn it made it impossible to move the table
