Joggers

Post by IDontBelieveIt »

What a bunch of tossers they are bouncing down the road with those stupid water bottles (specially made for said tosser) and iPod earphones rammed in the ears so they don't hear the ferking big truck that is about to run them over.

Is it some kind of fashion statement (look how healthy I am and how unhealthy you are )?

In fact running on hard footpaths is actually very bad for your knee joints whereas standing by a bar drinking bitter is very good for your knee joints.

I don't mind people running, but do it in the country, not on the bloomin road or pavement. If I go running I go around a local reservoir, only problem is that it is about 2.5 miles from start to finish and if it is a quiet day it gives someone the perfect chance to break into your car lol

Most of the time I just don't bother, or I go to the gym and run on the treadmill

I can't think of anything more boring than a treadmill, even the gym bores me

The trouble with some people is they have no road sense at all or any sense. If your running/walking or whatever keep alert to what is around you. The amount of times I see people just walk out into the road at junctions without looking is amazing, especially when they are on the phone texting. ::b
