Hi again!
I've had a look through some wiring stuff on the internet, and one of the things I picked up was protecting the wiring from rodents, would some level of protection be required in a detatched garage? I've not seen any rats around, but they're everywhere - well if you belive what you see on the tv.
If protection is required, would plastic conduit do, or does it have to be metal?
Just asking as i'm thinking or re doing the wiring to the lights in the garage because of it's poor condition, don't want someone coming in later and saying it should have been protected.
Thanks
MC

I'm pretty sure that plastic will stop them.
For some reason they like chewing wires
I have not head of them chewing through wires in garages, but I have seen it in houses that are in the countryside. It is sensible to use plastic conduit as a precaution.

Thanks,
It was already what i was thinking. and it'll look neater as well, since the wiring isn't concealed in the garage, not really important i know, but i'll be happier with the final job
