polycel damp seal

hey there,

I live in an 1800 cottage and have a full damp course in situ. some of the paint on my interior wall started to peel off so I had the wall drilled to make sure the damp course was ok, which it was. I've since had the walls skimmed to make them look good.

I've bought some polycel damp seal and i would like to put this on the plaster now that it is dry before painting over - can this go straight on the plaster or should I used watered down emulsion 1st?

If the damp proof course is ok and you have had it plastered then I would not use any damp sealing chemicals. I would just leave it. Sealing it might cause you other problems.
