Hi Simon,
Pointing is all fine.

It is like Newbie said it is to do with Ventilation and we do get lot of condensation, especially if you sleep in the same room, as you create condensation when breathing/Sleeping.

I have told me wife to leave the wardrobe door open to help it circulate air inside the wardrobe to reduce the moulding.
