Copying CDs onto USB

Post by The Weegie »

Okay guys. Managed to install the car stereo this evening.

Whole reason I bought it was due to it having a USB port.

I thought brilliant I will be able to have loads of songs on the USB.

Yeh right. I have tried to copy CDs however every time It asks me to insert a blank CD.

Any ideas guys as to transfering to USB.

Cheers

Put your CD in the drive and rip the music content to a folder in the My Music folder.
When done, insert a USB stick into a USB port and right click the music folder that has your music in it, and select 'Send to' and click on the icon for the USB removable memory.

You have to save it to your computer before you can transfer it to the USB Stick.

How do you rip. I have copied it into my music folder. It then copies it onto the USB however when I click on the music to play it says Sync device not installed.
