Hi all!
DIY disaster no. 3: I have Indian slate tiles on my kitchen floor with 2 layers of HG impregnating sealer on. There are several scratches on the floor, from moving workmates (I've been sanding doors in my kitchen) and I've made the matter worse by using steel wool to try and remove a few difficult paint stains and other marks that were beyond a coarse scrubbing bush - so my floor is a bit scratch city.
The scratches aren't deep - and in some light you can barely see them but inother lights: ugh, the horror! Any ideas? The grouting is pale grey if that's at all relevant.
Cheers
Bertie
PS: is there a link to a page that shows how to add emoticons? I'm new here and can't find instructions

Thanks for that. Diamond polishing discs seem to be the way to go but they aren't cheap and the scratches aren't that noticeable (I had to point them out to a friend) so maybe I'll allow a bit more wear and tear before I set the grinder to the floor.

A DIY disaster trying to avoid DIY disasters. But "With continued efforts results will improve" (from school report after finishing 26/26 in Woodwork class for 3rd year running)
