acidanthera, gladioli, and dahilas Are all quite tall (3ft)ish and don't know the other two, perhaps a google moment in a min

acidanthera like a wall behind, so I would plant them about 6" apart and 3 to 4 " deep along the wall.

Glads, I think look better in a bunch, but technically they should be planted as above.

Dahila's ( my favorite) are more bushy so can be planted in from of the taller plants.

Dig all the bulbs up at the end of season and dry them, before wrapping them in straw to winterise them, or next year they will more than likely be dead.

I wouldn't plant the Dahlias out yet as it is a bit early for them. They are best out of all of them.

I love dahlias too and had a large bed dedicated to them......then I got divorced lol....yeah, I really regret losing my dahlias.

End of march early April for Dahlia's and Acidanthera, Glads are much more hardy.

When planting any flowers always follow 'nature numbers' and plant in Odd numbers, 3,5 or 7 etc.

That's why a 4 leaf clover is rare.

I plant my Glads in bunches.

Probably worth waiting until May before planting unless you live in Gods country of 'Cornwall' where it's warmer.

Like the old saying, "Ne'er cast a clout 'till May be out"

Some people think this is the Mayflower (Hawthorn), some say the month of May.

Don't suppose the Captain would be too happy if you spread them out too far John.
