low ceiling, tile which way?

450x300 tiles on wall with low bathroom ceiling, whats the best way round to fix the tiles?

Depends on the tile. Vertical or horizontal will look equally as good, dependent on tile design. Again, depending on the tile design, horizontal can look pants.

Prop a few up vertical and some horizontal and stand back, see which way is better.

if its lower than 2.4m..then what about a brickbond effect broken up with a nice border tile(same thickness) as field tiles.

it really depends on more than just the ceiling height, Hollywood, things like length and width of room and position of windows and fixtures and fittings play a more important part of setting out than ceiling height! as you may find horizontal fits the height better but might cause you problems elsewhere in the room!
if you give us the room Dims im sure we can all foist an opinion on you! :lol:
