Locked out

Post by Stoday »

Help!

I'm locked out of TT. (I'm sure it's not TT that's locked me out because I've not been naughty enough).

A month ago I was suddenly unable to change my signature, but that's not serious so I didn't bother about it..

Tonight I try logging on, it tells me I've been successful but when I'm routed back to the forum I'm not logged on anymore.

I've checked my cookies are turned on & TT is in my trusted site list. I'm running XP & internet explorer & norton internet security

Because I can't log on, I can't post any messages on TT. Maybe someone would be kind & tell 'em what's happened to me. :cb

Can anyone suggest how I can get over this?

*** Please don't laugh ***

(Although I would if someone else got stuck like me)

I have posted over on TT.

Have you tried using firefox?

That might work if it is IE that is causing your problem!

I've already tried deleting my cookies, but it didn't help. I'm still locked out. even after rebooting.

I think there may be a problem writing the cookies, but I've no idea what's stopping it.

Any other ideas?

(And thanks for your kind thought HM)

I still can't log on to tt. Done all the things suggested (except for firefox).

On the other hand, it cleared the bug in UK Twerps hop. It now works properly.
