I agree UHM. If it's still under warranty let them deal with it. You're the client here!
I do HATE it with a passion, it is a pile of crap!

The problem is that I am a very "busy" person and I have a million better things to do than call PC world and explain my problems to them, only to be asked if I have done this or that, then They will probably tell me to take it back to Blackpool, which will take 2 hours out of my day. Arghh

Even PCWorld aren't that tw*tish to make you go to where you bought it from - probably won't even notice the store details on the reciept.

They are not renowed for their aftersales ::b (not that good at pre-sales either - can you tell I don't like DSG )

They are pretty useless and will probably try to tell you that you'll need to get in touch with Toshiba, which is a load of b0ll0x. Your contract is with PC World. You bought it from them, they are responsible for it under warranty.

I inserted the recovery disk as a last ditch attempt to fix it before calling PC world and it crashed and will not do anything at all now ::b

I called PC world and they were surprisingly very helpful and are collecting it on Tuesday

Hopefully they will fix it pretty quickly.

Fair enough. It's the least they could do.

I have just received the laptop back from the couriers.

It has been fitted with a new motherboard

That is not something that you would expect to need replacing on a Toshiba laptop that is only 9 months old

It's a good job that I have not used it much or else it would of needed replacing much sooner!
