Re: Kress?
Just had a look here and they seem to look like the wickes pro range http://www.kress-elektrik.com/
Whether or not they are any good or not, I can't say.
Hopefully someone else will know.

Re: Kress?
I bought a brand new Kress drill off ebay cos the fella didn't realise an sds drill needed different bits.
It was to stand in for my Kango when that went off to have a new lead fitted.
Not a bad drill actually although it's a bit tired now 'cos I keep using it to knock up plaster!
Far better than B&Q's crappy Performance Pro range ;)

Re: Kress?
I needed a cheap orbital sander, so went to Wickes, got the sander and a jigsaw came with it for about £25.00 (if memory serves me right) the jigsaw ain't brilliant and the sanders fine, but at that cost their disposable!

Re: Kress?
The wickes range and pro range are far away from each other.
I think Kress/Perles are both under estimated brands. Not many people seem to sell them

Re: Kress?
I remember seeing Kress drills advertised in construction mags maybe 20 years ago. No experience of them but I got the feeling they were pitched more to the pro market, so probably pretty good.
