Supposedly a childrens's play den
This is where you can post pictures of extremely poor workmanship, whether it is done by a dodgy tradesman or by an incompetent DIY'er. Instructions on how to post pictures can be found in here.

I remember you blooming,bloomin123 wrote:Don't know whether you remember me from a few weeks ago, just a little note to let you know that we never heard a thing from the recorded delivery letter we were told to send by trading standards, so looks like we are heading down the small claims court - great!! It still looks the same as in the photos, except it has already started to bow, must be the weight from all of the rain. Pay Pal instructed us to call the police - so glad that consumers are so well protected.

You are handling it the right way (at the moment), wait and see what the powers that be can come up with before you go down any other route.
The internet is a powerful weapon, and can be used to your advantage, if and when the time is right.

I just dont know how these people, or any people that rip customers off get away with it

TBH, I have always handled things in my own way, 'A woman scorned and all that', but not in the love sense lol, I always do my research, get as much info as I can, give them time to sort things out, and if they dont, then I go for the jugular, and I have to say, I have always come up trumps.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, and the plus side is that you have people on here that are willing to help you out.
Let us know how things are going, we are all behind you 100%

I would rather want something I dont have, that have something I dont want

Small claims is a very quick and easy way to go, they recently upped the ceiling to £3,000 so you're well in the category.
Not sure if its any different south of the border, but here you just fill in a simple form, (loads of pro-forma stuff on t'internet under courts) pay £60 and get every single piece of paperwork together, then they send it all to him when he has 30 days to respond. If he decides to argue the case you'll have to go to court otherwise the onus is on him to pay up.
Best of luck and let us know how you get on.

Men will always be kids. Even after they have grown up, they keep trying to go back where they originally came from!
