Tiling Bath Panels

Hi,

I'm looking at tiling my bath panels (side and end). I know I have to build 2 frames but I'm not sure what the best way is to get them to meet correctly at the corner.

I was thinking I would have to have the tile over hanging the frame to meet the beading. Is this correct or I am total off the mark?

Any help appreciated.

Hi badger,

welcome to the forum

You can construct a frame from 2*2 inch timber and then fix tile backer board to this and then fix the tiles to the tile backer board. Have everything to hand and when positioning the frame allow for the thickness of the tiles, adhesive and tile backer board and then you can get it flush with the top of the bath. Where the short and long lengths meet you might want to use some tile trim. It's a good idea to make it so that the end panel can be removed or an access door should be built in so that you can access the taps and waste connections.
