That's why I posted this:

"Can someone else other than a Mod* check the Comps forum to see if the ! button is missing and also if the smilies are there for replying to a post.
Thanks.
*Not picking on Mods but they have more priveleges and so it may not show the problem."

Should be sorted now Dave,

The premissions did not seem to copy over from the old forum software correctly.

Even the compliment slip was 'painted'.
And it appears to be a promotional firm that was doing the despatching, so I sent a curt letter and a couple of pics of the box to them.

just glad it was water based for ease of getting it off my hands and trousers, because we don't have any white spirit left at the moment.

ps. Still not showing smilies or BBCode in this forum. They are available elsewhere in the forums.

Dave .....Market research companies obvious dont know how to pack and send paint..

Mine arrived this morning..the guy gave it to the wife boxed up....she put it down in the hall...15 minutes later she came back to a puddle of poxy emulsion that had leaked out of the box and all over my f*****g floor!

Still...at least it didnt smell too bad..

I rang the number on the box...the girl apologised an said she would send some more...apparently they didnt know that your meant to put tape over those lids when in transit..

They know now!

Second parcel arrived today and i said to the delivery guy that I would open and check it first as the last lot had been busted open.
"Better be quick because I have other people waiting!" was his reply.
I told him that he wouldn't get a signature until I had opened it and his other customers would have to wait.

Any way it was fine and the lids had been really well taped down.

Thanks Chez, and Dulux.

Paint arrived, eh last week  sorry haven't said before.

It was all intact in it's tinnies and not the slightest drop spilled.

Many Thanks I'll post more when I use it.
